- Exit and panic devices certified to both ANSI/BHMA A156.3 and EN 1125 / EN 179, with rim, mortise and vertical rod configurations available under either listing. Fire-rated versions carry both UL 10C and EN 1634-1 evidence in the same submittal.
- Used where a project's escape doors are specified to one code and the authority having jurisdiction works to another, or where an international tenant's standard has to sit inside a locally approved base building. Dual listing removes the argument at inspection stage — the point at which a door that cannot be re-certified is already installed and the handover date is fixed.
