- Schneider ComPact NSX moulded case circuit breakers across five frames — NSX100, NSX160, NSX250, NSX400 and NSX630 — covering roughly 15 A to 630 A, with ComPact NS continuing from 630 A to 3200 A. Thermal-magnetic or Micrologic electronic trip units give adjustable long-time, short-time and instantaneous settings, in fixed, plug-in and withdrawable versions.
- Used on main and sub-main distribution, motor feeders and generator connections, where the adjustable trip unit is what allows selective coordination — the downstream MCB clears its own fault without the MCCB above it seeing enough time to trip. Electronic trip units add metering and communications, so the same device that protects the feeder also reports its load to the BMS.
