Fresh/exhaust louver

- Weatherproof extruded aluminium louvers with drainable or storm-proof blades, insect or bird mesh and a choice of powder coat or anodised finish. Free area and water rejection at a given face velocity are the two figures that decide the size.
- Fitted at every fresh air intake and exhaust discharge on façades, plant rooms, substations and car parks. Undersizing to fit an architectural opening is the classic mistake: raising face velocity to make the airflow fit pulls rain through the blades and adds pressure drop the fan was never selected for.
