Differential Pressure Regulators

- Oventrop "Hydromat" differential pressure regulators — DTR threaded, DFC flanged — in DN 15 to DN 50 at PN 16, with a lockable nominal value of 50–300 mbar or 250–700 mbar readable from outside at any time. Maximum differential is 2 bar to DN 40 and 3 bar at DN 50.
- Fitted at the base of risers and at zone branch take-offs on variable flow systems, throttling in response to an impulse line taken from the flow side. As two-way valves elsewhere close and pump head rises, the regulator stops the excess pressure reaching the zone — the standard remedy for whistling control valves and for actuators being pushed off their seat at low load.
