- Stainless steel sheet and coil in 304 and 316/316L, in 2B mill, brushed and mirror finishes. 316 contains molybdenum and holds up to chlorides where 304 will pit — the distinction matters on the coast and in wet processes.
- Used for kitchen grease extract ductwork, hospital and pharmaceutical ducting, swimming pool and laundry exhaust, coastal outdoor plant and any hygienic application that must be washed down. NFPA 96 requires a continuously welded liquid-tight duct for grease extract, which is why stainless is specified over the kitchen line rather than coated galvanised.
