(KSA) Mohamed Samir Ajlouni Factory
About
- A Saudi joinery works producing doors, wooden decoration, interior furniture and hotel and palace fit-out, with CNC and laser engraving on wood, leather and acrylic. Capacity covers both bulk door production and one-off decorative work.
Application
Used where the door is part of a bespoke interior, palaces, villas, hotel suites and executive floors, and carved, inlaid or profiled leaves have to match panelling and furniture made in the same shop. Bulk production capacity means the same factory can also cover the plain repeat doors on the rest of the project.
Standards & Reference 5 cited
SASO standards
The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization requirements: what a product must meet to be placed on the Saudi market.
BS 476-22
The older British fire resistance test for non-loadbearing elements, tested at roughly neutral furnace pressure. Still cited on UK-legacy specifications alongside EN 1634-1.
EN 1634-1
The European fire resistance test for door and shutter assemblies, and the basis for CE marking a fire door. Built on a different pressure regime from UL 10C, so the two ratings are not interchangeable.
NFPA 80
Not a test but a compliance standard: how fire doors are installed, inspected and maintained, including the annual inspection and the requirement that every fire door self-closes and positively latches.
ANSI/WDMA I.S.1A
The American standard for architectural wood flush doors, covering construction, performance duty level and warranty.
