- Weatherproof extruded aluminium louvers with drainable or storm-proof blades, insect or bird mesh and a choice of powder coat or anodised finish. Free area and water rejection at a given face velocity are the two figures that decide the size.
Application
Fitted at every fresh air intake and exhaust discharge on façades, plant rooms, substations and car parks. Undersizing to fit an architectural opening is the classic mistake: raising face velocity to make the airflow fit pulls rain through the blades and adds pressure drop the fan was never selected for.
