- Oventrop "Hydromat" differential pressure regulators, DTR threaded, DFC flanged, in DN 15 to DN 50 at PN 16, with a lockable nominal value of 50-300 mbar or 250-700 mbar readable from outside at any time. Maximum differential is 2 bar to DN 40 and 3 bar at DN 50.
Application
Fitted at the base of risers and at zone branch take-offs on variable flow systems, throttling in response to an impulse line taken from the flow side. As two-way valves elsewhere close and pump head rises, the regulator stops the excess pressure reaching the zone, the standard remedy for whistling control valves and for actuators being pushed off their seat at low load.
