- XLPE power cables with an LSZH sheath for rated voltages up to 1 kV, armoured or non-armoured. Ramcro manufactures its fire resistant range under the RAMFIRECRO-F3 sub-brand and 2MKablo under FireKab, both built to BS 6387 C-W-Z, BS 7629, IEC 60331-21 and EN 50200.
- Cables are used in areas and applications where electrical integrity of the cable has to remain intact for at least three hours, so as to activate and maintain crucial functions such as firefighting, public announcements, smoke extraction systems, sprinklers, emergency lighting, evacuation path lighting systems etc. those cables are installed in open air, underground, indoor and in cable ducts. Shielded types are allowed to use it as neutral-protective or earthed conductor. simultaneously, this also is permitted to apply it as a screen. Armoured types would be able to bear external mechanical forces. Lead sheathed types are designed to be used in any applications where the cables may be subjected to solvent penetration or corrosive attack or hydrocarbons.
