- Extruded aluminium supply, return and door grilles with single or double deflection blades — MetalAire's Series 4000 is the reference pattern, with an extruded aluminium border and aerodynamically shaped, individually adjustable deflector blades on 0.666" centres. Opposed blade dampers are added in steel (Model OBD) or aluminium (Model OBDA) to make a register, and Series 4000R and 4000RS keep a uniform face appearance across supply and return.
- The standard sidewall and high-level outlet in offices, corridors, hotel rooms and villas, and the usual return air path in a ducted return or a ceiling plenum. Double-deflection is specified for supply so the horizontal and vertical pattern can both be trimmed on site
- single-deflection is enough for return, where throw does not matter and the extra blade set is only cost.
