- Rising and non-rising stem gate valves for full-bore isolation on chilled water, heating and potable water lines. The wedge lifts clear of the flow path when open, so pressure drop is close to that of the bare pipe.
- Fitted as service isolation upstream and downstream of pumps, chillers, heat exchangers and riser branches, so a plant item can be dropped out for maintenance without draining the system. Gate valves are for fully open or fully closed duty only — throttling on a part-open wedge erodes the seat and is the usual cause of premature failure.
