Air Vents

- Automatic float-type air vents and manual bleed valves that release air collecting at system high points. A built-in check makes it possible to remove the vent head for service without draining the riser.
- Installed at the top of every riser, at high points in horizontal mains, on AHU and fan coil coils, and above pumps and heat exchangers. Trapped air is the most common cause of a coil that will not reach duty and of a pump that cavitates on start-up, so venting is checked first when a circuit underperforms.
