Fiberglass Isolators

- Kinetics moulded inorganic fiberglass isolation — Model FH hangers and Model KIP pads — coated and colour-coded by load range, giving low-frequency isolation with a very low profile and no exposed steel to corrode. KIP pads are selected by density so different load ranges under one slab still share a constant natural frequency.
- Used under floating concrete floors, generator and transformer bases, and as jack-up pads under plant where headroom will not take a spring mount. Because the pad is selected for a target natural frequency rather than a fixed deflection, a single floating slab carrying very unevenly distributed load can still be tuned to behave as one mass.
