- Schneider PowerLogic PM5000 series multifunction power and energy meters, measuring current, voltage, power factor, active and reactive energy, demand and harmonics. All models provide Modbus serial communications, and PM5500-level meters add simultaneous Modbus TCP and BTL-certified BACnet/IP over Ethernet.
- Fitted on the main incomer and on major sub-feeds in commercial and healthcare buildings, feeding energy dashboards used for tenant billing, load profiling, power quality investigation and demand-charge reduction. BACnet/IP matters on projects where the BMS is BACnet-native: without it, a separate Modbus gateway has to be added for every meter, and that gateway is usually what fails first.
