- Kinetics IsoMax isolation clips and spring hangers supporting steel grid and gypsum board ceilings. A soft neoprene isolator cradles the hat channel so structure-borne vibration is not transferred into the channel and from there into the board — two layers of board on isolated hangers typically add 8–12 dB over a directly fixed ceiling.
- Used below plant rooms, car park ramps, gyms and noisy tenancies, and in hotel and residential work where footfall from the floor above is the complaint. Services fixed through the isolated ceiling — sprinkler drops, luminaires, duct hangers — must be isolated too, or each one becomes a rigid bridge that carries the noise straight past the ceiling installed to stop it.
