- Kinetics floating floor systems: the FLM lift-slab floor mount (a 4" reinforced concrete slab on FLM isolators with KIP pads over a 2" air space above the structural slab), the RIM roll-out isolation material creating a 1"–4" airspace under a wood floated deck, and ISOLayment QT recycled rubber underlayments. KIP isolators are spaced at 12, 16 or 24 inches on centre and selected by density.

- RIM wood floated floors suit dance studios, recording studios and loft conversions where a lower profile and lighter assembly are needed. The detail that decides the result is always the perimeter — any rigid contact between the floating deck and the surrounding wall, or a service penetration, flanks straight around the isolation.
