Neoprene Isolators

- Kinetics neoprene isolation — Model RH hangers, ribbed and waffle pads, double-deflection mounts and grommets — giving roughly 5 mm to 12 mm deflection with strong high-frequency attenuation. Neoprene holds its properties against oil, ozone and outdoor exposure far better than natural rubber, which is why it is the elastomer specified on plant room and rooftop work.
- Specified where the disturbing frequency is high and the deflection needed is small: small pumps and fans, transformer feet, pipe clamps, and as the second stage in series under a spring isolator. Also used as the separating layer between dissimilar metals and between an equipment foot and its concrete plinth, where the pad is doing corrosion separation as much as vibration work.
