Wall-mounted axial fans with a plate or ring-mounted impeller, available with fixed or automatic shutters and weather cowls. Simple, low-cost and easy to replace, with no ductwork resistance to overcome — the fan is selected at or near free delivery.

Used for direct through-wall ventilation of workshops, warehouses, substations, generator rooms and plant rooms. Selection is limited by the physics: an axial fan loses volume rapidly against static pressure, so these suit free-discharge duties and become the wrong choice the moment ductwork, a sand trap louver or a filter is added in front of them.
