- Kinetics Model KNC noise control curtains — modular reinforced limp mass vinyl panels, or vinyl and quilted fiberglass barrier/absorber composites, on a self-supporting track that lets the curtain open for access at almost any point. Grades run KNC-50RB and 100RB (barrier only), -RBQ (absorber facing the source) and -BQQ (barrier fully encased in quilted absorber for Class A flame and smoke), giving an average transmission loss increase of up to 29 dB.
- Used to screen generators, compressors, pumps and construction plant, to divide multi-purpose halls, and to enclose a noisy process temporarily while work continues around it. Velcro closures along every edge and grommets along the top are what make the seal continuous — an acoustic curtain with open vertical joints performs like no curtain at all, because sound leaks through a gap far faster than it passes through mass.
