- Kinetics rectangular and circular HVAC duct silencers, lined plenums and acoustic louvers. All Kinetics silencers are independently tested in an NVLAP-accredited laboratory to ASTM E477-06a and AMCA 1011-03, so insertion loss, self-generated noise and pressure drop are published per model rather than estimated.
- Installed on AHU supply and return, on car park and kitchen extract, on generator intake and discharge, and as acoustic louvers on plant room and substation openings facing residential neighbours. Because insertion loss varies with both the direction and the speed of airflow, a silencer picked on attenuation alone can cost more fan energy than the plant it protects and still generate more noise than it removes.
